Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, including Salesforce multi-cloud architecture . Strong hands-on experience with : Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity) – FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures. Apex (classes, triggers) . Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components . Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and system integrations . Proven experience developing and deploying managed packages. Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code. Experience working within a structured development environment and following DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Salesforce certifications – at least 2 certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Developer , OmniStudio Developer ). Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Familiarity with Agile methodologies , including Scrum or SAFe frameworks. Experience working with version control systems like Git.
Job Title : Salesforce Engineer (OmniStudio)
Location : Chennai
Work Mode : Hybrid – 4 Days Work from Office (WFO)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio components including FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures , and DataRaptors .
- Build scalable and reusable solutions using Apex , Lightning Web Components (LWC) , and Aura Components .
- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce components and user interfaces , integrating with backend systems using Salesforce APIs , JSON , and SOAP web services .
- Collaborate with Ford IT and development teams to integrate Salesforce across various business functions.
- Take ownership of the release cycle , ensuring smooth deployments and version control.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation , write and maintain unit tests , and adhere to Salesforce coding standards and best practices .
- Ensure platform performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Drive and support agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
