Role : AI Governance Specialist

Shift timing : 3 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM (IST)
Ensure compliance, bias monitoring, and responsible AI governance practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5 to 8 years in data / AI governance.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with ML lifecycle management tools.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Technical & Analytical Skills :
Familiarity with ML lifecycle management tools (e.g., MLflow, ModelDB, DataRobot).Understanding of AI / ML algorithms, model validation, and performance monitoring.Deep understanding of AI ethics, fairness, transparency, and accountability.Familiarity with global regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO standards).Experience implementing responsible AI frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, OECD AI Principles).Key Responsibilities :
Define and implement AI governance processes.Monitor bias, explainability, and fairness.Maintain model audit trails and documentation.Collaborate with compliance teams.Develop and maintain governance frameworks for AI / ML initiatives.Establish policies for responsible AI use across the organization.Maintain Model Audit Trails and DocumentationTrack model lineage, versioning, and performance metrics.Document decisions made during model development and deployment.Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Data TeamsWork closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).Partner with data scientists and engineers to embed governance into the ML lifecycle.Risk Assessment and MitigationIdentify potential risks associated with AI systems (e.g., ethical, reputational, in tools like :Governance platforms : Collibra, OneTrust, BigIDML Ops tools : MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMakerBias & fairness tools : IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool(ref : hirist.tech)
