Position : Marketing Manager (IIHMRU–JHU Cooperative MPH Program)

Role Overview :

IIHMR University, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University (JHU), invites applications for the position of Marketing Manager to lead student recruitment and outreach for the IIHMRU–JHU Cooperative Master of Public Health (MPH) Program. The role focuses on attracting prospective students from India and SAARC countries, developing marketing and engagement strategies, and ensuring a seamless admissions experience for international applicants.

Qualification : Master’s degree in marketing, International Education, Public Health, or a related field.

Required Skills :

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in promoting public health or healthcare-related programs will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for outreach activities.
  • Strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
  • Culturally sensitive and comfortable working in diverse environments.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with international partners.

Required Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in student recruitment, international marketing, or higher education outreach.
  • Strong understanding of global education systems, particularly U.S.-based admission processes.
  • Experience with credential evaluation (WES / ECE) and global application platforms such as SOPHAS.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement marketing and student recruitment strategies for the MPH program across India and SAARC regions.
  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, social media promotions, and targeted outreach initiatives.
  • Coordinate student engagement activities including webinars, information sessions, and on-site events.
  • Guide prospective students through the complete admission cycle—right from inquiry to enrolment.
  • Support applicants in credential evaluation processes (WES / ECE), statement of purpose (SOP) preparation, and applications via SOPHAS or other global admissions platforms.
  • Collaborate with university teams and international partners to ensure timely communication and efficient admission processing.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • Represent the program at educational fairs, institutional visits, and other outreach activities in India and SAARC countries.
