What You'll be doing :
Process Execution & Documentation : Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP, NAIC Statutory and company policies.
Collaboration : Work effectively with team members across global locations and functions.
Audit Support : Provide information and documentation for internal and external audits as requested.
Issue Resolution : Identify and help resolve routine issues, escalating complex matters to management.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement : Support process enhancements and stay updated on accounting practices and technologies.
Operational Support : Participate in financial close and reporting activities, ensuring adherence to internal controls.
Process Excellence : Suggest improvements and support automation initiatives.
Risks & Controls / Process Excellence
Support the execution of well-controlled processes, focusing on established controls.
Seek opportunities to automate controls and improve efficiency.
Assist in maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
Contribute to workflow optimization and technology adoption as directed
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in financial accounting or operations.
Basic understanding of US GAAP reporting (required).
General knowledge of US NAIC statutory reporting (preferred, not required).
Experience in insurance or healthcare accounting (preferred, not required).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite) and reporting tools (Hyperion, Oracle EPM) (required).
Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBi, SQL, Alteryx, Python / R, and Workiva (preferred).
Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and support a culture of continuous improvement.
