Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and customize ReactJS-based components and plugins for the Backstage framework.
  • Understand and extend core and advanced features of ReactJS, ensuring code scalability and maintainability.
  • Perform performance profiling, debugging, and optimization of web applications.
  • Work with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Esbuild, etc.) to improve developer experience and application performance.
  • Apply UI / UX best practices, ensuring accessibility and responsive design standards are met.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery — writing effective prompts and reviewing AI-generated code for quality and compliance with project standards.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and senior engineers to ensure clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to continuously improve the engineering process.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–10 years of professional experience in full-stack web development with a strong focus on ReactJS.
  • Deep understanding of React core concepts — lifecycle, hooks, context API, state management (Redux, Recoil, Zustand, etc.).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques (memoization, lazy loading, virtual DOM diffing, bundle analysis, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Node.Js frameworks (Express, NestJS, or similar).
  • Experience with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite, Esbuild).
  • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern deployment pipelines (CI / CD).
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) and understanding of their responsible use.
  • Proactive learner with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently translate business requirements into technical solutions.
