Role Overview :
As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large and complex data sets, identifying key patterns and trends, and providing actionable insights that support marketing, sales, and strategic decision-making. This role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work with large volumes of data to identify, interpret, and analyze business trends.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights to support marketing and sales strategies.
- Apply statistical methods and mathematical concepts to generate accurate analysis.
- Leverage advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Access) for data management and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate insights effectively.
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Access).Familiarity with research / segmentation tools such as Nielsen, Claritas, MRI / Simmons, Mosaic / PRIZM / Personicx Segmentation, ArcGIS, BCC, or similar (preferred).Experience handling large data sets; knowledge of SQL is an advantage but not mandatory.Strong mathematical and statistical skills.Excellent problem-solving skills, with independent judgment and self-direction.Highly detail-oriented and organized; strong ability to spot trends.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong critical thinking ability, with the skill to uncover stories within data and shape them into marketing / sales strategies.Skills Required
