Job Summary – Development Engineer 4 Design and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions that power capacity planning across new and existing product lines. You’ll architect, build and maintain robust data infrastructure and pipelines, enable advanced analytics and machine learning, and ensure data completeness and accuracy for strategic decision-making. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and BI tools to support network and product analytics.

Engineer data extraction, transformation, and enrichment processes across large datasets. Design and implement workflow orchestration.

Build process and framework to ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.

Design and document system architecture, processes, and specifications.

Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and distributed computing.

Support ad hoc analysis, ML model development, and production deployment.

Build validation and testing frameworks for data and ML processes.

Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines, version control, and unit testing frameworks to support agile development and deployment.

Core Skills

Expert in SQL, Python, ETL, data pipeline automation, and analytics.

Hands-on experience with AWS, Databricks, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI or other).

Familiarity with Comcast network data, capacity planning, and deployment principles (preferred, not required)

Strong experience with Git, github, CI / CD, unit testing, and SDLC.

Proficient in 70% of : AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, Airflow, Metaflow, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL, REST APIs, JSON, Parquet, Javascript, MLflow, Apache Spark, SparkSQL, Pyspark Python, Pandas, Numpy, scikit-learn, Terraform.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Proven ownership of deliverables and adaptability to new technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information systems, Finance, Math, or related field; Master’s preferred.

6-8 years of relevant experience.
