Senior Network Engineer

Job descriptionConfigure and manage enterprise firewalls : Palo Alto , Fortinet , Cisco ASA / Firepower , Check Point , etc. Implement network segmentation , zero trust architecture , intrusion prevention systems (IPS) , web application firewalls (WAF) , and DDoS protection . Define and enforce ACLs , NAT policies , VPN tunnels , and network access control . Conduct firewall rule audits , security assessments , and vulnerability remediation . Automate network provisioning and configuration using Terraform , Ansible , PowerShell , Python , or Azure CLI . Integrate network automation into CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks. Develop reusable templates and modules for consistent and efficient deployments. Serve as the Tier-3 escalation points for complex network and connectivity issues. Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds , Azure Monitor , Network Watcher , Wireshark , and SNMP-based tools . Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 , NIST , PCI-DSS , HIPAA , and internal policies. Maintain detailed documentation of network topologies, configurations, and operational procedures. Support internal and external audits with accurate and timely reporting. Lead network-related projects and initiatives from planning through execution. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to network architecture and operations. Bachelor's degree in computer science , Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including : Strong hands-on experience with routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, QoS). Deep expertise in Azure networking (VNets, Load Balancers, Application Gateways, NSGs, Route Tables, etc.). Experience with firewall platforms and network security best practices . Proficiency in network automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python. Strong understanding of DNS , DHCP , IPAM , NAT , and network virtualization . Microsoft Azure : AZ-700 : Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions AZ-104 : Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-305 : Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions Networking & Security : Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP ) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert ( CCIE ) Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer ( PCNSE ) Fortinet NSE 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 Check Point Certified Security Expert ( CCSE ) Certified Information Systems Security Professional ( CISSP ) – preferred Automation & DevOps : HashiCorp Certified : Terraform Associate Microsoft Certified : DevOps Engineer Expert Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation Experience with multi-cloud networking (AWS, GCP). Familiarity with SASE , CASB , ZTNA , and Zero Trust models. Knowledge of container networking (Kubernetes, CNI plugins). Experience with load balancing , reverse proxies , and CDNs . Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

- Lead hybrid connectivity solutions including VPN , ExpressRoute , VNet Peering , Private Link , and SD-WAN .
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to align network solutions with business and compliance requirements.
