Role Overview

The Deputy Cluster Head will be responsible for managing operations across assigned clusters, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving strategic initiatives, and maintaining operational excellence. This role involves people management, financial oversight, and cross-functional coordination to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Lead, monitor, and manage daily operations across the cluster to achieve business objectives.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Drive operational efficiency and implement process improvement initiatives.
Manage, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to build high-performing teams.
Develop and execute cluster-level strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial discipline.
Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring service quality and timely delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales, HR, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management.
Implement risk management practices and ensure business continuity.

Required Skillsets

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Proven expertise in strategic planning and operational execution.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis.

In-depth understanding of compliance, regulatory standards, and quality assurance.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.

Industry experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or related sectors Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Pharmacy, or a related field.

Masters degree (MBA / PGDM in Operations or Healthcare) preferred.

6 to 10 years of experience in operations / cluster management, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
