Being a Welfare Officer, you will be responsible for Advice and leadership on employee and union or works council relations. Advises management on legal / labor law / regulatory issues and risk management. Develops operational plan for own department.

As a Welfare Officer, you will be responsible for :

• Providing advice, counsel and leadership on employee and unions / works council relations. Advises management on legal / labour law / regulatory issues and risk management. Includes those who lead Labour Relations teams, and / or the operations for such teams. For use in Business or Shared Service teams. (Excludes HR support for hourly / non-exempt organizations)
• Developing elaborated proposals for changing processes and procedures assessing the impact on directly related processes / functions.
• Communicating the broader picture to the team. Use of basic influencing skills to deliver on assigned goals.
• Providing services to the function or directly to the business.
• Handling department work guided by procedures. Exceptional cases are resolved by choosing the right procedure.

To be successful in this role you will :

A degree in Bachelor of Law awarded by any University recognized by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grants or

Adequate knowledge of Tamil and English Languages
