About the Company : Our client company is a leading global manufacturer in the chemical and packaging sector, specializing in sustainable solutions that support industries worldwide.

Job Summary : The client company is currently looking for a dynamic individual to work as a Senior Tax Analyst in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will support the Tax Consolidation Manager in establishing an efficient tax function.

What will be expected from you?

• Direct Tax - Must.
• Experience working with Federal and Texas State Tax.
• Tax Nexus management.
• Withholding Tax Compliance (1042 filing etc.)
• Sales and Use Tax - compliance and experience - Must.
• Collaborate with consultants on property tax assessments, gradually building proficiency and understanding of the process.
• Experience with Tax Planning - transfer pricing and R&D incentives
• Canada VAT filings (Outsourced). Liaison will be needed.
• Liaison with Bangkok GHQ and Charlotte Regional tax office is implied as the case may be.
• Cross culture / Cross time zone experience preferred.
• Work on tax related business processes efficiently.
• High quality analytics of tax positions for global tax footprints.
• High quality information system supported by SAP, OTP, Consolidation modules
• Support structure for 100% compliance with laws of land.
• Work on OTP and Consolidation modules to automate and enhance the accuracy of data flow.
• Target 100% accurate tax accounting.
• Tax optimization.
• Optimize without compromising compliance requirements.
• Foster mutual trust and confidence with indirect subordinates, consultants.
