Role Objective :
To lead and strengthen the company's accounts, taxation, and compliance function with a hands-on approach, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with the company’s growth plans. The role is designed for a proven finance leader who can evolve into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role in the coming years.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee preparation and finalization of financial statements (Standalone & Consolidated) in line with Ind AS, Companies Act, and SEBI regulations.
- Ensure timely closure of books, audit coordination, and board-level reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Drive Direct & IndirectTaxation (Income Tax, GST, TDS, Transfer Pricing,MAT, etc.), including assessments, litigation, and representation before authorities.
- Ensure compliance with MCA, SEBI (LODR), RBI, FEMA, and other regulatory filings.
- Manage banking relationships, debt covenants, credit lines, and cash flow planning.
- Optimize working capital cycles and ensure liquidity for operations and projects.
- Partner with promoters / board to provide insightson profitability, cost optimization, and capital structuring.
- Contribute to decision-making on new investments, real estate monetization, and expansion initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and guide the accounts & finance team.
- Personally drive critical tasks – not only delegate.
- Groom for a smooth transition into the CFO role within 3–5 years.
Candidate Profile :
Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; additional CS / CFA / ICWA preferred.15–20 years of experience with at least 5 years in a GM / AGM / AVP finance role in a listed company (manufacturing or real estate preferred).The above 2 points are mandatory - kindly note
