Job description

Please note- This job location is for Zambia- Lusaka.

Candidates willing to relocate to Zambia, only apply for this job.

1. Optimize ETG’s monitoring and reporting on carbon Scope 1&2 footprint of warehouses and factories.

2. Identify key solutions to reduce ETG’s carbon footprint in a cost-efficient manner and turn these into a decarbonization roadmap that is in line with SBTi targets.

3. Report on the progress of implementation of factory and warehouses projects in close collaboration with the factory teams.

4. Coordinate relationships with external technical experts for optimizing project outcomes.

Required know-how / experience

Masters Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or related studies

At least 5 years’ practical experience in GHG reporting and reduction trajectories at industrial sites for Scope 1 and 2.

Extensive understanding of electricity, renewable energy, waste management, and / or heat efficiencies solutions.

Strong communication skills to ensure a smooth collaboration with various factory and (senior) management teams.

Self-starter : needs to be able to identify, justify and work on priorities with little supervision
