Full Stack Engineer - AI-Native (0-2 years)

Role Overview

We're looking for a high-agency, AI-native full stack engineer to join the innovation team. You'll work on experimental functionality or directly with clients to build cutting-edge solutions using AI-powered development tools and the latest technologies. You will also be working closely with the core engineering team to cross leverage capabilities. This role is perfect for someone who moves fast, leverages AI for development, and thrives in ambiguous environments.

What You'll Do

Build end-to-end AI-powered solutions for clients across diverse industries

Rapidly prototype and iterate on innovative products - shipping MVPs in days, maybe even hours

Work directly with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) to create intelligent applications

Collaborate with consultants and clients to translate business problems into technical solutions

Experiment with emerging AI frameworks, tools, and development agents - then share learnings with the team

Own projects from concept to deployment, making architectural decisions along the way

Ship fast, learn faster, and continuously improve based on user feedback

What We're Looking For

AI-Native Development : You build with AI agents, not just use them occasionally. Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, v0, Lovable, or Replit are core parts of your daily workflow. You know how to prompt effectively to generate production-quality code.

Full Stack Fundamentals : Strong grasp of modern web development (React, Next.js, Node.js, Python). You understand what the AI-generated code is doing and can debug / modify it effectively.

10x Productivity : You ship faster than traditional developers because you leverage AI tools intelligently. You focus on architecture, logic, and user experience while AI handles boilerplate.

Bias for Action : You don't wait for perfect requirements. You make reasonable assumptions, ship quickly, and iterate based on feedback.

Self-Directed Learning : You're constantly experimenting with new AI development tools. You learn by building and know which tool to use for which task.

Product Thinking : You care about user experience and business outcomes, not just writing code. You can demo working software, not just explain concepts.

Comfortable with Ambiguity : Consulting projects are rarely well-defined. You thrive when given a problem space rather than a specification.

Technical Skills (0-2 years experience expected)

Required : Daily proficiency with AI development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, v0, Lovable, Replit, or similar)

Required : Strong in datastructures and algorithms.

Strong understanding of modern JavaScript / TypeScript and Python

Experience with React and at least one backend framework (Next.js, FastAPI, Flask, Express)

Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering

Understanding of vector databases and RAG architectures (bonus)

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS, GCP) and deployment

Ability to read, debug, and improve AI-generated code

Nice to Have

Personal projects built primarily using AI development tools

Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks

Understanding of fine-tuning, function calling, or model evaluation

Active participation in AI dev tool communities (Discord, Twitter)

Experience building with multiple AI coding agents and understanding their strengths
