About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Head – Commercial / Corporate Underwriter to lead our underwriting function for commercial and corporate insurance portfolios. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in risk assessment, portfolio management, and client engagement — ensuring profitable growth while maintaining regulatory and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Risk Assessment & Underwriting

• Evaluate and underwrite risks across Fire, Engineering, Marine, Liability, and Miscellaneous lines.
• Analyze proposals, inspection reports, and client profiles to assess risk acceptability.
• Determine terms, conditions, and pricing aligned with underwriting guidelines and reinsurance treaties.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, underwriting, and reinsurance norms.
