Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Developer with expertise in building end-to-end business applications leveraging Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing backend databases, logical layers, and intuitive front-end interfaces that align with business requirements. This role demands strong technical skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient business solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Application Development
- Design backend databases, front-end user interfaces, and logical layers to meet business requirements.
- Develop PowerApps applications (Canvas and Model-Driven) using Common Data Service (CDS), Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Excel, and Forms.
- Design and implement data capture and navigation apps (desktop and mobile) that integrate with distribution center solutions.
- Automation & Integration
- Configure and implement Microsoft Power Automate (Flow) to streamline workflows with automated approvals and status updates based on predefined business rules.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems to ensure smooth data flow and business process efficiency.
Analytics & Reporting :
Build and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports for actionable insights and analytics.Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and usability for decision-making.Testing & Support :
Perform manual testing of applications to ensure quality, usability, and performance.Provide IT support, resolve incidents, and manage application-related requests.Implement Business-As-Usual (BAU) changes and continuous improvements.Business Analysis & Agile Delivery :
Collaborate with business stakeholders for requirement gathering, documentation, and meetings.Contribute to Agile ceremonies and follow Agile Development and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.Work on time-to-time business analysis activities to align technical delivery with business goals.Incident & Request Management :
Manage incidents and requests using tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow (SNOW), and Azure DevOps.Monitor and track progress to ensure timely resolution and communication.Skills & Qualifications :
Mandatory expertise in PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps).Strong knowledge of Common Data Service (CDS) / Dataverse, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Power BI.Experience in Agile and TDD environments.Good understanding of incident / request management tools (JIRA, SNOW, Azure DevOps).Strong communication skills - verbal and written.Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with problem-solving and issue anticipation skills.(ref : hirist.tech)
