About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Senior FS Audit Professional to support our Audit & Assurance function with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and firm-wide audit initiatives.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening audit processes, supporting internal inspections, driving technical projects, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Audit Quality & Compliance :
- Develop, enhance, and implement firm-wide policies that continuously improve the quality of our Audit and Accounting practice.
- Promote and monitor compliance with regulatory, ethical, and professional standards issued by the Firm and governing bodies.
- Assist in internal inspections, targeted binder reviews, and engagement clean-up activities to ensure audit quality and documentation completeness.
Project Management & Technical Initiatives :
Support planning and execution of various internal audit-related projects, including quality initiatives and methodology enhancements.Contribute to technical projects involving independence matters, research assignments, Quality Control Document updates, and training development.Assist in data-driven initiatives, including analytics, automation, and reporting for management decision-making.Engagement Execution & Review :
Demonstrate strong technical proficiency and apply Firm standards consistently across engagements.Lead and assist in binder reviews, engagement file assessments, and audit documentation improvements.Identify areas for process improvement and proactively contribute to operational efficiency.Professional Development :
Stay updated on evolving accounting standards, audit methodologies, and industry trends-especially relevant to Financial Services clients.Participate in firm-wide trainings, CPE programs, and continuous learning initiatives.Support knowledge sharing within the team and contribute to capability Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification experience with a U.S -based accounting firm, preferably within FS audit.Experience contributing to or managing internal projects, quality initiatives, or audit methodology enhancements.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Exposure to data analytics, automation tools, or analytical reporting (preferred).Demonstrated leadership potential with a collaborative, proactive approach.Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, and high attention to detail(ref : iimjobs.com)
