- perform equipment sizing and specification, utilizing industry standards to ensure optimal performance.
- prepare mechanical datasheets and review vendor drawings for compliance with company policies and regulations.
- support development of equipment layout drawings, tie-in points, and utility connections, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- collaborate with process and instrumentation engineers to ensure integrated design solutions, leveraging expertise in both fields.
required qualifications and skills include :
b.e. / b.tech in mechanical engineering, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.5–7 years' experience in pharma / chemical plant design or epc projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.strong knowledge of asme codes, api standards, piping & pressure vessel design, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.experience in vendor coordination, procurement support, and documentation, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.familiarity with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 / 210 / 211 requirements for regulated markets, preferred but not required.
