Designation - Deputy Manager / Manager -Government Affairs
Job Location – Okhla Phase 3, Delhi
Working Days – 6 ( 2 Saturdays Work from home)
Role Overview
will be responsible for driving policy advocacy, regulatory engagement, and government relations to support the organization’s business objectives in the medical devices sector. The role involves tracking policy developments, representing the company at industry forums, engaging with government stakeholders, and supporting strategic initiatives that shape a conducive environment for the medtech industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Policy Advocacy & Government Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across central and state government ministries, regulatory bodies, and public health institutions.
- Participation in discussions with the Ministry of Health, CDSCO, DPIIT, MeitY, GST Council and other relevant authorities.
- Develop advocacy strategies to influence policies impacting the medical devices sector.
2. Regulatory & Policy Monitoring
Track policy, regulatory, and compliance developments affecting the medical devices industry (e.g., Quality standards, pricing, customs, GST, PLI, import / export policies).Analyse policy changes and provide timely insights, impact assessments, and strategic recommendations to internal leadership.Prepare briefs, regulatory notes and communication dossiers for internal stakeholders.3. Industry Association Engagement
Participation in working groups, committees and consultations with key industry bodies (e.g., AIMED, CII, FICCI, NATHEALTH, ASSOCHAM) to contribute to collective advocacy efforts.Draft submissions, position papers, and responses for industry-led policy comments.4. Strategic Communication
Prepare talking points, presentations, and white papers for leadership participation in government meetings, conferences, and policy events.Coordinate internal alignment on policy positions and support senior management in external stakeholder engagements.Qualifications & Experience
Postgraduate / Graduate degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Management or related fields.3+ years of experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy preferably in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or allied sectors.Strong understanding of India’s policy-making ecosystem and medical devices regulatory framework.Key Skills
