ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

Job Summary
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical and instrumentation systems within the dairy processing facility. Ensures reliable operation of control systems, motors, sensors, PLCs, and automation equipment to support continuous production and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair control systems including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, and field instruments.
- Maintain and calibrate process instruments such as flow meters, temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, level sensors, and conductivity meters.
- Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and control systems.
- Interpret electrical and control schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work complies with food safety, GMP, and safety regulations.
- Support energy efficiency and automation improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and utility teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain records and documentation of maintenance work, calibration certificates, and modifications.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support during plant operations.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.3–5 years of experience in the food processing or dairy industry preferred.Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA).Familiarity with standards such as HACCP, GMP, and food-grade electrical installations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, hygienic production environment.Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider systems is a plus.Skills Required
