The Role
As the Creative Head at NIRU India, you won&apost just be leading a team; you&aposll be the architect of our brand&aposs narrative.
You will be responsible for :
- Storytelling & Narrative Design : Deconstruct sacred Indian iconography into its symbolic elements, then rebuild these into a cohesive, compelling brand narrative with visual and emotional depth.
- Brand Identity & Art Direction : Define and own the entire visual and audio language of the brand. This includes everything from color palettes and typography to the sound design of our films.
- Content Production : Lead the creation of powerful, purpose-driven content, including a hero film, short-form videos, and behind-the-scenes documentaries. You&aposll be the creative force guiding scripting, mood boards, and final production.
- Creative Innovation : Pioneer a system of documentation that transforms the research and design process into a brand-building asset.
Who We&aposre Looking For :
We&aposre searching for a creative leader with a deep appreciation for culture and spirituality.
The ideal candidate will have :
10+ years of progressive experience in creative direction, art direction, or content production, with a proven portfolio showcasing a unique ability to translate abstract concepts into compelling visual narratives. Experience within the luxury, premium, or mission-driven brand space is highly preferred.A strong portfolio that demonstrates impeccable taste and editorial sensitivity, particularly in visual storytelling across different media. Your ability to elevate a brand&aposs aesthetic is critical.A unique blend of skills : This role is open to both a visionary writer with a deep understanding of visual and design execution and a brilliant designer with a profound ability for storytelling and narrative development. Your primary strength can be in words or visuals, as long as you have the ability to think holistically across both.Direct experience with motion graphics, film production, and sound design, as you will be leading the creation of hero films and a library of short-form video content.A proven track record of leading creative teams or cross-functional projects, collaborating effectively with designers, researchers, and marketing professionals. You should be comfortable acting as the creative nexus for the entire project.A deep background or genuine passion for mythology, sacred art, or Indian iconography. We&aposre looking for someone who understands the nuance and symbolism of these traditions, not just someone with a passing interest.The ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, startup-style environment.
