Ailaysa hires news professionals. A major opportunity for the journalists in India, especially those who are working with Indian languages, is available with the fastest growing content AI company. For one of news and current affairs project, we recruit many Indian languages journalists as a freelance contributor, working from home.

Ailaysa, a Multilingual AI content platform that helps news and media companies among others, in making their content available in many languages, is hiring Indian language journalists from every state in India, for its readily available project. We are seeking talented journalists who are proficient in translating news, government affairs, government press releases, politics, current affairs, finance, judiciary, and election reports, coverages, articles and discussions on regular basis. Mostly from English to Indian languages, or vice versa.

Languages Required (any language pair) : English AND Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Santali, Dogri, Kashmiri, Bodo, Bhojpuri, Manipuri, or Nepali.

Type : Full-time / Part-time / Freelancing

Mode : Remoter / Hybrid

Responsibilities :

  • Translate OR edit (after AI translation) press releases, news copies, articles, news stories, parliamentary and assembly discussions, party reports, social media posts, video transcripts, and other content with accuracy and fluency.
  • Write original articles, features, news reports, and related content in the target language, ensuring high-quality and engaging output. (optional)
  • Conduct thorough research to gather reliable information from diverse sources and ensure content accuracy. (optional)
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to align content with the organization's standards, objectives, and target audience.
  • Adhere to deadlines and deliver completed projects within the specified timeframe.
  • Maintain effective communication with the team and promptly address any queries or concerns.
  • Stay updated with current events, trends, and developments in the target language and related fields.

Requirements :

  • Fluency in both English and any one of the Indian languages on professional level of writing and translation.
  • Ability to work in computers, and familiarity with AI / machine translation too.
  • Proven experience in translation, in a journalistic context, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to adapt content to suit different styles, tones, and target audiences.
  • Sound knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary in the target language.
  • Familiarity with journalistic principles, news writing formats, and ethical practices.
  • Proficient in conducting research and verifying information from credible sources.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Reliable internet access and computer literacy.
  • Availability for projects on a freelance basis, with flexible working hours.

    • Payment Structure :

  • Monthly payments will be made based on the number of tasks completed and their respective complexities.
  • The payment structure will be discussed and agreed upon with the selected candidates.
