Job Description :

1) Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for lithium-ion battery components along with its Logistic 2) Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, Transporters, Shipment , & all other mode of Logistic. 3) Conduct supplier & Logistic vendors audits and assessments to ensure quality and reliability. 4) Prepare and process purchase orders for lithium-ion battery components and materials. 5) Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable deals. 6) Monitor market trends to make informed purchasing decisions. 7) Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers to manage the importation of goods. 8) Ensure all import documentation is accurate and complete, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. 9) Manage customs clearance processes to prevent delays. 10) Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade, Shipment, Logistic in regards to regulations and standards. 11) Stay updated on changes in import / export laws and regulations affecting lithium- ion battery components. 12) Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and documentation. 13) Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of components for production. 14) Work closely with the inventory management team to forecast demand and plan purchases accordingly. 15) Coordinate with shipping and logistics companies to arrange the transportation of goods. 16) Track shipments and address any issues that arise during transit. 17) Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. 18) Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions. 19) Analyse data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. 20) Should have Knowledge of visiting Govt Department during hours of enquiry or any govt related Issues. Qualifications : 1) Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 2) Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and importation, preferably in the electronics or battery industry. 3) Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures. 4) Excellent negotiation and communication skills. 5) Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP Location : Mumbai(Andheri West )
