Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Shopify Developer. The Shopify Developer will be responsible for creating and customizing Shopify themes, integrating third-party applications, developing custom functionalities, and troubleshooting issues. Daily tasks include working closely with the design and marketing teams to implement new features, optimizing website performance, ensuring a seamless user experience, and maintaining up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Shopify development, theme customization, and app integrations
• Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript / jQuery.
• Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility with responsive designs.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance.
• Implement third-party APIs, payment gateways, and advanced integrations.
• Familiarity with eCommerce principles and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience with WordPress websites is a plus (themes, plugins, custom post types, page builders).
• Experience with Webflow, Wix is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
