Solution is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Chartered Accountant (CA) to take ownership of the financial control, statutory compliance, and management reporting functions.
Based in Surat, this role is critical for ensuring the absolute accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions, timely book closures, and adherence to all direct and indirect tax laws, as well as Companies Act requirements.
The ideal candidate will leverage their CA expertise to drive strategic financial planning, prepare critical reports for management and banking purposes (e.g., CMA), and lead the successful completion of all internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Closing and Reporting : Drive the process for on-time and error-free monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures, ensuring all accounting standards are strictly followed.
- Management Information Systems (MIS) and Analytics : Prepare comprehensive Monthly MIS and various critical financial reports, including :
- Monthly Financial / Corporate Trial Balance.
- Capital Work-in-Progress (CWIP) Status & Fixed Asset Register maintenance.
- Review and analysis of Creditors & Customer Ageing Reports and Inventory Ageing Report.
- Detailed Variance Analysis of financial performance against budget.
- Preparation of Provisional P&L and Balance Sheets as required.
- Banking and Credit Management : Take the lead in preparing the Credit Monitoring Analysis (CMA) report and related documentation to effectively manage bank credit facilities and secure necessary funding certificates.
- Statutory and Tax Compliance : Ensure meticulous compliance with all Direct Tax (Income Tax, TDS), Indirect Tax (GST), Companies Act, and other statutory requirements, which involves :
- Timely preparation and filing of Income Tax and GST returns for both the company and individuals.
- Timely filing and payment of statutory dues like PF, ESIC, TDS, and Professional Tax (PT).
- Liaising effectively with External and Internal stakeholders and Government Authorities to address compliance queries and audits.
- Audit Management : Drive the efficient completion of internal and external audits on time, serving as the primary point of contact and proactively ensuring the timely resolution and closure of all audit queries and observations.
- Treasury and Cash Management : Perform daily Bank Monitoring activities, manage Balance Confirmation processes, and oversee the preparation of Cheques, Online Payments, NEFT / RTGS Payments, and maintain accurate Cash Flow Projection to guide appropriate operational and investment decisions.
- Accounts Integrity and Control : Verify and certify all necessary financial documents to ensure the accuracy of all transactions in terms of receivables, payables, accounting entries, and cash management.
- Budgeting and Salary Disbursement :
- Document and update the annual budget for the division, translating strategic goals into deployable financial performance targets.
- Prepare and process the Salary Sheet, oversee the timely disbursement of salary, and manage the online payment of related PF, ESIC, and PT contributions.
- Finalization of Accounts : Take responsibility for the technical Finalisation of Books of Accounts in accordance with Indian GAAP / Ind AS (as applicable) and relevant statutory provisions.
Required Skills :
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.2-5 Years of post-qualification experience in a corporate finance, accounting, or auditing environment.Expert-level knowledge of Indian GAAP / Ind AS, Companies Act provisions, and corporate financial statement finalization.In-depth, hands-on experience with Direct Tax (Income Tax, TDS) and Indirect Tax (GST) compliance, return filing, and audit management.Demonstrated technical capability in preparing Credit Monitoring Analysis (CMA) reports for bank funding / credit renewal.Proven expertise in preparing detailed MIS reports, Variance Analysis, and Cash Flow Projections for executive management.Strong technical skills in managing core accounting modules like CWIP, Fixed Assets Register, and Inventory Ageing analysis.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Preferred Skills :
