WIfi / Networking Apps Test Engineer (Staff Engineer)

General Summary

Join Qualcomm's System Test team focused on defining and implementing testing strategies for WiFi, Networking, AI / ML, and applications on access points (routers). The role involves developing test plans, tools, and automation frameworks to validate AI SDKs, AI / ML inference engines, and embedded applications.

Collaborate closely with systems, software, and hardware teams to deliver production-quality software and firmware to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze new features and develop comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Develop test applications and build API test frameworks for AI / ML models.
• Manage test infrastructure and design network topologies / use cases for validation.
• Support end-to-end release processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams on complex features, testing strategies, and automation.
• Conduct log analysis for troubleshooting and recommend solutions.
• Share knowledge across the team and maintain strong collaboration across multiple teams, including lab, IO, field, and product management.
