Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Automotive Process Engineer based in Chennai. The Automotive Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing manufacturing processes within an automotive setting. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing production workflows, identifying areas for process improvements, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, preparing technical reports, and ensuring that safety regulations are adhered to.

Qualifications

• Expertise in process design, optimization, and implementation within the automotive manufacturing sector
• Proficiency in quality assurance processes, production workflows, and safety compliance
• Strong knowledge of CAD software, process simulation tools, and industrial engineering methodologies
• Skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and conducting root cause analysis for production issues
• Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and communication abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus
