SAP ABAP with S / 4 HANA

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces .

Work on S / 4HANA-specific developments including Core Data Services (CDS) Views, AMDPs, and OData services .

Implement user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, enhancements (implicit / explicit) , and SmartForms / Adobe Forms .

Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, and web services .

Optimize ABAP code for HANA performance using SQL script, CDS-based modeling, and pushdown techniques.

Collaborate with functional teams (FI, SD, MM, PP, etc.) to understand business requirements and deliver efficient technical solutions.

Participate in code reviews, performance tuning , and unit testing .

Provide production support and defect resolution within SLAs.

Maintain documentation of developments and follow SAP best practices .

Required Skills :

Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development .

Hands-on experience with S / 4HANA ABAP and ABAP on HANA concepts.

Strong proficiency in CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, and Fiori integration .

Good understanding of HANA database architecture and code pushdown techniques.

Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV, and Data Dictionary objects .

Solid knowledge of enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits .

Experience in debugging and performance tuning .

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP Certification in ABAP or S / 4HANA ABAP .

Exposure to SAP Fiori / UI5 or SAP BTP extensions.

Experience in migration or conversion projects (ECC to S / 4HANA).

Basic knowledge of workflow, ALE / IDocs, and integration scenarios .
