Role Overview
The Manager – Total Rewards will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to attract, motivate, and retain top talent. The role requires strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution to align total rewards practices with business goals and evolving market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Management
- Design and manage compensation structures aligned with business goals and market benchmarks.
- Conduct annual salary benchmarking, market surveys, and internal equity analysis.
- Drive the annual compensation review and increment process in coordination with business and HRBPs.
- Develop and maintain job grading, pay bands, and position evaluation frameworks.
Benefits & Rewards
Design and oversee employee benefits programs including insurance, wellness, and other perquisites.Evaluate and recommend enhancements to the rewards and recognition framework to promote high performance and engagement.Partner with finance and HR teams to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control of compensation and benefits programs.Performance & Incentive Programs
Design and manage short-term and long-term incentive plans linked to business performance.Support implementation of variable pay programs and ensure alignment with performance metrics.Analyze incentive outcomes and ensure fairness, transparency, and compliance.Analytics & Compliance
Generate and analyze compensation-related reports and dashboards for leadership decision-making.Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.Partner with external consultants and vendors for surveys, benchmarking, and audits.Key Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.In-depth understanding of compensation benchmarking, pay structures, and incentive plans.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.High attention to detail with a focus on process improvement.Qualification & Experience
MBA in HR or related field from a reputed institute.8–10 years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a consumer, retail, or e-commerce industry.Experience with HR analytics tools and compensation benchmarking platforms (e.g., Mercer, Aon, Willis Towers Watson) preferred.
