Evaluate the performance and degradation of PEM electrolyzer stacks and components over time
Identify and mitigate potential failure modes using tools like FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Design and execute reliability testing plans and protocols for PEM electrolyser and their subsystems. This includes accelerated stress testing, durability assessments, and performance mapping.
Collaborate with test engineers to design and execute long-term reliability tests under various operating conditions.
Work with materials scientists to assess how different materials affect system durability and efficiency.
Work with manufacturing and quality control teams to improve production processes. Implement quality control procedures and specifications to minimize defects and ensure a reliable product.
Analyze operational data to detect trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain detailed documentation of test results, analysis, and engineering recommendations. Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.
Provides ongoing training and education to the team to ensure its ability to execute on the Company and team goals and objectives.
Builds a strong development team by ensuring effective coaching and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Desired Skill :
B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical / Materials or Metallurgy with 8+ year of experience or Ph. D in Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or related discipline with 5+ years of experience in product testing and material characterization.
Deep knowledge in electrochemical characterization techniques : CV, LSV, EIS and standard testing protocol for electrolyzer systems.
Proven ability to bridge engineering and operational teams to drive measurable product improvements.
Strong data analysis skills; proficiency with reliability tools and statistical software.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
In-depth knowledge of PEM electrolyzer materials and testing standards.
Strong ability to develop and execute qualification plans for complex semiconductor products.
Previous experience in the renewable energy sector a plus.
