Role Overview
We're looking for a Hardware Development Intern who can take a concept and make it real, designing and prototyping a device that :
- Plays pre-recorded audio files
- Includes volume control functionality
- Features interactive buttons and LED lights
- Integrates with AI-driven experiences
- You'll be hands-on from day one, building, testing, and iterating quickly until it works flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, assemble, and test the hardware prototype
- Integrate audio playback modules for pre-recorded content
- Implement physical volume control (rotary / digital)
- Wire and program buttons, LEDs, and other interface elements
- Ensure smooth integration with AI-driven software modules
- Troubleshoot, debug, and keep iterating until it works right
- Take full ownership of your build- from concept to working prototype
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree / diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or similar)
- Knowledge of AI concepts and practical applications in hardware devices (mandatory)
- Familiarity with integrating buttons, LEDs, and basic I / O components
- Experience with audio modules and basic circuit design
- Mindset : relentless problem-solver, strong ownership, doesn't give up when things get messy
Nice-to-Have
- PCB design skills (KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
- 3D printing or mechanical prototyping experience
- Knowledge of battery-powered device design and power management
