Juniper Mist Engineer

A Juniper Mist Wireless Engineer is responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing wireless networks using Juniper’s Mist AI-driven platform. This role combines deep technical expertise in wireless networking with the ability to leverage AI tools for proactive network assurance and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Deployment & Configuration : Implement and configure Mist wireless solutions, including Wi-Fi 6 / 6E access points, Mist Edge, and integration with Juniper EX switches.
• AI-Driven Operations : Utilize Mist’s Marvis AI to monitor network performance, automate troubleshooting, and proactively resolve issues.
• Performance Optimization : Conduct RF planning and tuning, manage channel assignments, and ensure optimal wireless coverage and capacity.
• Security Management : Implement wireless security protocols such as WPA2 / 3, 802.1X, and RADIUS, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaboration & Support : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT support and engineering, to address network issues and implement enhancements.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and performance metrics.
