Application support analyst with AWS & NodeJs experience.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive AWS Application Support Analyst to join our team. This role involves providing Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support for cloud-based applications hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills a solid understanding of AWS services and experience in application monitoring incident management and root cause analysis.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

Level 2 Support (70%)

Monitor application performance and availability using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.

Respond to and resolve incidents service requests and alerts within defined SLAs.

Perform routine operational tasks such as deployments backups and patching.

Escalate unresolved issues to L3 or development teams with detailed documentation.

Maintain runbooks and knowledge base articles for recurring issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and support.

Level 3 Support (30%)

Perform deep-dive analysis and root cause investigation for complex issues.

Work with development teams to identify and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks.

Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Optimize AWS infrastructure and application configurations for reliability and cost-efficiency.

Support automation initiatives and CI / CD pipeline enhancements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

5 years of experience in application support preferably in AWS environments.

Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda CloudWatch IAM etc.).

Experience with monitoring tools log analysis and incident management platforms.

Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.

Understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.
