💻 What You'll Be Doing

As a core member of our development team, you will dive deep into our systems. Your primary focus will be on designing, coding, testing, and supporting our applications built on the IBM i (AS / 400) platform.

• Develop & Enhance : Write high-quality, secure, and maintainable code using COBOL / 400 , CL , and SQL / DB2 .
• Collaborate : Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and QA teams within a full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• Modernize : Play a key role in integration projects, helping our core systems communicate with modern applications via APIs and other solutions.
• Problem-Solve : Analyse and resolve complex technical issues and application defects.
• Optimize : Use your strong SQL skills to write efficient queries and ensure database integrity and performance.
• Maintain Standards : Adhere to and promote software development best practices , secure coding standards, and effective version control .
