Job description

Responsibilities

  • Design and configure Asset Accounting (FI-AA) processes , including asset lifecycle management, asset classes, depreciation keys, account determination, and parallel valuation.
  • Solution design and implement, support SAP Project System module .
  • Ensure seamless integration of Asset Accounting, Project Systems with other SAP modules and applications .
  • Analyze and document business processes related to asset accounting, Project Systems , identify gaps, and propose effective solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery in Finance modules .
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly within SLA guidelines , providing ongoing support to business users.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions aligned with business objectives , and implement scalable, reliable systems.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities independently .
  • Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure reliability, performance, and quality of solutions.
  • Partner with business units, SOX, Compliance, and IT teams to bring innovative ideas to solve business and technological challenges.

ResponsibilityPercent of Time Deliver SAP Asset Accounting and Project System projects implementation, rollouts, enhancements, support , ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.50% Work on WRICEF objects ensuring effective cross-functional integration and seamless external systems integration. 20% Ensure Testing, Quality Assurance, Process Optimization, Reporting, Analytics and Compliance. 20% Ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals. Foster growth, skill development, and seamless integration. 10%

Organizational Relationships

  • Interacting with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements, understand business processes, and ensure that integration solutions align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Participate in project planning activities , risk assessment, and scheduling for SAP projects.
  • Interacting with external vendors or partners who provide software or services that need to be integrated with SAP systems.
  • Work with implementation partners who may be responsible for deploying, configuring, or maintaining integrated solutions within Zoetis IT landscape.
  • Coordinate with developers and other members of the development team to implement integration solutions, share knowledge, and address technical challenges.
  • Education and Experience

    Education :

  • Master's / Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant is required.
  • Experience :

  • 8+ years of overall SAP Finance with 3+ in Asset Accounting and Project Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in S / 4 Hana Asset Accounting and PS implementation .
  • Expertise in Implementation and Production Support Projects .
  • Expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) modules, Asset Accounting, Project Systems , and Integration with other SAP modules and external applications .
  • Experience in leading and driving Business process workshops and Fit / GAP analysis .
  • Extensive hands-on experience in identifying, designing, and delivering RICEFW objects to meet business requirements effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities , and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with testing methodologies, incident / change management tools , and project documentation tools.
  • Technical Skills Requirements

    Indicate the technical skills required and / or preferred, as applicable.

  • Expert in Master data (Asset Maintenance) , Basic valuation functions, Depreciation, Asset acquisitions and retirements. Configure SAP FI-AA module to meet business requirements, including defining asset classes, depreciation areas, asset master data, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Expertise on configuring different SAP Project System attributes (Master data, Planning, Budgeting, Procurement, Settlements, etc.).
  • Integration knowledge between SAP PS and logistics, materials management, plant maintenance, finance, and controlling processes.
  • Good knowledge of PS structures : WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement planning, Project quotation, Time sheets, Goods issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS.
  • Experience / Knowledge in other Finance modules and processes .
  • Hands-on experience in identifying and working through FI User Exits, BAPIs, Function Modules , and directing ABAP developers .
  • Physical Position Requirements

    Note the physical conditions in which work will be performed, if applicable to the position. Examples : Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, ability to travel, drive, unusual attendance requirements, weekend work or travel requirements, etc.

  • Regular working hours are from 3 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM EST (ICC Second Shift) .
  • Sometimes, more overlap with the EST Time zone is required during production go-live .
