About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer / Test Automation Lead with a proven track record in software testing, test automation, and performance engineering. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation frameworks, CI / CD integration, API testing, and Agile delivery environments, with strong leadership in driving automation-first QA strategies.

This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and lead large-scale testing initiatives that ensure product quality, scalability, and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Automation Leadership : Lead the design, development, and execution of robust automation frameworks across web, mobile, and backend services.
• API & Backend Validation : Perform end-to-end API testing and write SQL queries for backend data validation.
• CI / CD Integration : Own the QA integration into CI / CD pipelines using modern tools and practices to ensure continuous quality.
• Performance Testing : Design and execute performance, load, and scalability tests, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations.
• Agile Delivery : Collaborate with product managers, developers, and scrum teams in Agile / Scrum ceremonies to ensure test coverage and early defect detection.
• Quality Advocacy : Drive the culture of automation-first testing and ensure high-quality deliverables across all releases.
• Defect Management : Report, track, and manage defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Mentorship : Guide junior testers / automation engineers and contribute to QA best & Skills :
• 8+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proven expertise with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.) and SQL for data validation.
• Deep understanding of CI / CD pipelines and hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI / CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile / Scrum frameworks and QA integration in iterative development.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
