Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to lead our Sales and Marketing initiatives in the Crop Protection and Crop Nutrition sectors. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets, expand the customer base, and manage a team of high-performing sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for Crop Protection and Crop Nutrition products.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing training, guidance, and motivation to drive performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, and Production teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on industry developments, agriculture trends, and market innovations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and marketing within the Crop Protection or Crop Nutrition industry.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding customer base.Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.Candidates should share their resume, mentioning current CTC and notice period details.Skills Required
