We now look to further expand our global footprint and add a location that gives us the capability to build teams of highly talented colleagues and deliver growth in our Technology Data and Product functions.

We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead to oversee and mentor multiple engineers who are each embedded in different Scrum teams. You will manage and coach your direct reports ensuring they have the support resources and guidance needed to excel. You will also contribute to solutions engineering by troubleshooting difficult technical problems guiding high-level design choices and collaborating with architects DevOps and other leads. This role focuses on people leadership while maintaining a high level of technical involvement to keep solutions robust and well-aligned with business goals.

This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Head of Head of Software Engineering. This role offers balanced working in our Chennai office.

Key Responsibilities

• Team & People Leadership

Manage a group of engineers working in separate Scrum teams focusing on performance reviews career development and overall wellbeing.

Advocate for Agile principles by supporting Scrum ceremonies (planning stand-ups retros) as needed making sure processes are consistent even if youre not at every session.

Provide technical oversight and perform code reviews advising on complex issues evaluating solutions for feasibility and quality.
