Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Senior MERN Stack Developer. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Min exp of 6 years
• Proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js (MERN stack)
• Backend development skills including RESTful API design and database management (SQL / NoSQL)
• Experience in frontend frameworks, responsive design, and modern UI / UX principles
• Strong understanding of version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows
• Skills in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of web applications
• Familiarity with cloud-based tools and deployment pipelines (e.g., AWS, Docker)
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments is a plus
