Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Pastry Chef. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating pastries, breads, and desserts to maintain the high standards of Dessert Street. Daily tasks include managing food preparation, collaborating with the culinary team, creating innovative recipes, and ensuring proper kitchen hygiene and quality control. The Pastry Chef will also manage inventory, monitor supplies, and oversee the kitchen operations to provide a seamless dining experience for customers.
Qualifications
Expertise in Bakery, Baking, and Cooking techniques
Proficiency in Food Preparation and general Culinary Skills
Creativity and a strong understanding of taste profiles for dessert innovation
Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hygiene standards
Experience working in a professional kitchen or pastry environment is advantageous
Certification or formal training in culinary arts or baking is a plus
Strong time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
