Role & Responsibilities :
- Sales and marketing of Sponge Iron, Pellet Ore, and M.S. Billets across PAN India
- Market assessment for price fixation of Sponge Iron, Pellet Ore, and MS Billets
- Responsible for direct sales to customers and through agents, ensuring best realization
- Meeting with new and existing clients to achieve sales targets
- Monitoring outstanding payments and agent commission bills
- Handling dispatch activities including priority-based planning
- Settlement of party claims related to product dispatch
- Ensuring quality assurance and client satisfaction by coordinating with production and clients
- Identifying new markets and collecting market intelligence to develop entry strategies
- Attending pre-bid meetings and interacting with customers for clarifications
- Preparing costing sheets, technical bids, and price bids, and obtaining internal approvals
- Attending bid openings and negotiation meetings; maintaining tender documentation
- Addressing customer complaints across levels
- Managing logistics, identifying fleet owners, negotiating freight, and arranging railway logistics
- Implementing hub-and-spoke transportation models for better reach
- Conducting market research and tracking competitor activities for strategy development
- Preparing and presenting MIS and periodic sales reports to management
- Coordinating with customers for C Forms, annexures, payments, and registration documents
- Developing new customers and agents / traders across India
- Coordinating with production for order fulfillment and shipment planning
- Maintaining regular customer communication and follow-ups
- Managing operational planning and resource administration
