The Vice President of Card Tech Data will be a highly visible and impactful executive position leading in some of Capital One’s most exciting and innovative areas of technology strategy. In this role, you’ll lead a team building next generation data systems and products for Capital One Card which owns the largest repository of customer data available within the company. You will collaborate with and influence the Enterprise Data Senior Leadership Team, Line of Business Leaders, and Technology Senior Leaders. You will play a critical role as we continue to lead in data, analytics, and technology.

Key Accountabilities :
- Serve as a change agent, driving our data strategy and capabilities forward to deliver trusted, well managed quality data experiences for all data stewards and stakeholders
- Focus on building leading-edge capabilities in support of ensuring world-class experiences for data producers and consumers with enterprise platforms
- Partner with Product and Design teams to strategize and build leading technology solutions Stay abreast of emerging technologies and market trends in data, applying learnings to improve our business and customer experience
- Drive a forward-looking data strategy that can realize long-term and commercial objectives Lead a large data organization
- Provide superior delivery management and accountability, leading delivery teams in India partnering closely with the US teams

The Vice President will be a seasoned technology professional with a passion for data transformation. You’ve worked in customer-first, technology-forward companies that move fast and deliver impactful results for users. You have transformation experience, building world class producer and consumer experiences using a variety of tech stacks. You have a strong appreciation for data and experience working in an agile environment. You are an advocate for the value of data-driven business decisions and products, as well as comfortable with big data and cloud-based technologies and tools. You have experience or are confident you could quickly ramp up on emerging technologies and concepts such as Golang, GraphQL, Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Fink, Apache Kafka, APIs, tokenization, and more.
You have a proven track record of being able to identify top technical talent and inspire and manage through change. You have the proven ability to influence and collaborate with partners inside and outside the company to shape the data ecosystem and standards for data collection, ingestion, decisioning, and analytics in a data producer and consumer framework. You have a demonstrated ability to develop a vision, drive, and manage the execution of that vision, and deliver top-tier results. You exhibit excellent leadership skills to leverage the capabilities of peers, business partners, and associates, and possess the confidence and poise to influence the executive leadership team and various internal stakeholders.
