Profile – Senior Backend Developer (Cloud Native)

The Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to be a key part of our next-generation cloud-native Home Loan Platform. You will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. This role requires hands-on experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and modern cloud practices (GCP, AWS), along with deep expertise in building secure and resilient APIs.

Responsibilities :

• Design and develop microservices using Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs for integration with cloud / on-prem applications.
• Implement reliable messaging using Confluent Kafka.
• Integrate with YugabyteDB for distributed, highly available data storage.
• Leverage DAPR for sidecar-based microservice building blocks like
• service invocation, pub-sub, secrets, and state management.
• Integrate long-running business workflows using Temporal.
• Ensure code quality via unit testing, integration testing, code
• reviews, and CI / CD pipelines.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of backend services.
• Work in Agile teams and collaborate with DevOps, QA, and other developers.
• Document systems and contribute to API specs and design documentation.
