Genome Analyst

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated Genome Analyst to join our team and support the analysis, interpretation, and reporting of genomic data. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in molecular genetics and bioinformatics, with the ability to translate complex genomic findings into clear, clinically meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality analysis of whole exome, whole genome, and targeted gene panel sequencing data.

Review and interpret variants according to ACMG / AMP guidelines and company standards.

Generate clear, accurate, and clinically relevant genetic reports for physicians, clients, and internal teams.

Collaborate with laboratory scientists, bioinformaticians, and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate case review.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of genetic databases, variant classification tools, and the latest literature.

Participate in weekly case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, and continuous quality improvement activities.

Ensure all analyses and reports comply with internal SOPs, quality standards, and data privacy regulations.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Genetics, Genetic Counseling, or a related field.

Strong understanding of human genetics, variant interpretation, and genomic technologies.

Hands-on experience with NGS data interpretation is highly preferred.

Familiarity with ClinVar, gnomAD, HGMD, OMIM, Varsome, or similar genomic databases and tools.

Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment.
