Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-end restaurants, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Indian and international cuisines. The Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining culinary excellence, developing new dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team to consistently deliver exceptional cuisine in line with the resort’s culinary vision and brand standards.
Plan, design, and update menus reflecting creativity, seasonality, and guest preferences while maintaining recipe consistency and food cost efficiency.
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring excellence in taste, presentation, and timing of every dish.
Maintain responsibility for P&L, food and labour cost control, stock management, and waste reduction, ensuring profitability without compromising quality.
Source, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring consistent quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery of goods.
Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene.
Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recipe manuals to ensure consistency.
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff, fostering professional growth and building a strong pipeline for succession and leadership development.
Collaborate closely with the restaurant, bar, and marketing teams to create cohesive guest experiences and support promotional campaigns.
Work in partnership with management on menu engineering, cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting to optimise financial performance.
Plan and oversee special events, private dining experiences, and group bookings, ensuring flawless culinary execution.
Stay up to date with culinary trends, techniques, and market insights, continually evolving the resort’s offerings to stay relevant and distinctive.
Attend management meetings, contribute to strategic discussions, and prepare regular performance and cost analysis reports.
