Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Head - Loan to lead and expand our loan product
portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in loan product management, with a proven
track record in a reputed bank, NBFC, DSA or fintech company. This leadership role demands strong
product understanding, strategic planning, and Process Management to drive business growth and
profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Strategy & Development :
- Define and execute the loan product strategy, including product launch, process management,
and policy formulation.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to build a robust productroadmap.
Business Development & Partnerships :
Establish strategic partnerships with third-party providers and new lenders to expand loanofferings and enhance market reach.
Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to create effective go-to-market strategies and driveproduct adoption.
Operational Excellence :
Implement technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives to streamline processes,improve service levels, and enhance customer experience.
Optimize productivity, reduce costs, and ensure profitability through process innovation andautomation.
Financial & Performance Management :
Drive profitability metrics while maintaining budgetary discipline, including Cost to Income andOperating Expenses.
Prepare and present budgets, business plans, and financial projections to senior management.Risk & Compliance :
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies for all loan products.Work closely with the Credit and Risk teams to recommend credit policy changes based onmarket scenarios and repayment trends.
Team Leadership :
Lead a high-performing product team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture ofinnovation and accountability.
Key Requirements :
15+ years of experience in loan product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated expertise in lending products and regulatory compliance.Proven experience in a reputed bank, NBFC, DSAor fintech company, preferably with a strongmarket presence.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.Proficiency in digital lending platforms, financial technologies, and data-driven decision-making.
