Job Title : Offshore Delivery Lead

Band – D1 / D2

Location : Pune, Gurgaon, Noida, Hyderabad, Bengaluru

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to manage and deliver data management projects for our global clients. The ideal candidate will have strong experience overseeing Data Engineering teams, Data Warehousing, and Cloud (preferably AWS). Prior exposure to Insurance domain projects will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale Data Management and Data Engineering projects.
Manage offshore delivery teams comprising Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and BI professionals.
Oversee project planning, execution, quality assurance, and timely delivery in alignment with client requirements.
Provide technical direction and guidance on Data Warehousing, Data Integration, and Cloud Data Solutions.
Engage directly with client stakeholders to understand data requirements, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
Ensure robust governance, compliance with best practices, and adherence to data security standards.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and onshore teams to design effective solutions.
Proactively identify risks, define mitigation plans, and handle escalations related to delivery.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement automation where possible to increase efficiency.
Mentor team members and help build technical capability within the offshore delivery unit.

Key Skills & Competencies :

15+ years of experience. 10+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience.

Prior experience managing and more importantly scaling accounts and teams

Technically adept having grown through the ranks as dev - senior developer – lead manager etc.

Ideally, should have been in accounts / with clients who have a large Snowflake, Databricks practices.

Financial Services / Insurance background

Should have been part of - or led - modernization efforts from legacy data estates (Teradata and the likes) to modern platforms

We need a person who while being technical is equally strong in working and leading teams of technical resources - being able to onboard new talent, manage resources, and interface with the client senior tech team members

Should be able to work flexibly and collaboratively and succeed in a high pressure - commercially driven environment. And align with different time zones and geos including travel.

Problem solver and good communication

Has a perspective and POV on AI and the future of data and AI

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications in Cloud, Data Engineering, or Project Management are desirable.
