Job description

Job Overview

This role is for a long-term contract remote professional providing technical assistance and support for Horizon VDI user issues.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Offer level 1-3 technical assistance and support for Horizon VDI user issues, including session performance, access, printing, and profile-related incidents.
  • Create, maintain, and update virtual images for various user groups, including application installation, patching, and configuration.
  • Validate and troubleshoot application functionality within VDI sessions in partnership with application owners.

Requirements :

  • A minimum of two years of IT technical support experience, with at least one year supporting VDI environments.
  • Experience with Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 10 / 11), Active Directory, and group policies.
  • Proficiency with tools like Horizon Administrator / Console, vSphere Client, and basic PowerShell scripting.

    • PREFERRED SKILLS :

  • Three or more years of experience providing technical support for end-user computing or VDI in enterprise environments.
  • Deep experience creating and maintaining virtual images, including app installations, optimizations, and Windows updates.
  • Working knowledge of FSLogix, profile redirection, and user data management.
