Job description

We are seeking an experienced and organised Project Manager (Interior Design) to lead and oversee interior design and fit-out projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will manage planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end execution of interior design and fit-out projects.
Coordinate with clients, designers, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
Develop project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and timelines.
Oversee procurement, vendor management, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
Conduct regular site visits to track progress, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Manage contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
Prepare and present project status reports to clients and management.
Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Support design and technical teams in translating design concepts into practical execution.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Project Management.

5–8 years of experience managing interior design or turnkey fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, finishes, and MEP coordination.

Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.

Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, and other project management tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

PMP or similar project management certification.

Experience with residential interiors.

Familiarity with sustainable design and green building practices.

Strong vendor and client management skills.
