We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Retention who will own and execute retention and lifecycle marketing strategies across the customer journey. The role involves designing and optimizing multi-channel campaigns (push, in-app, email, SMS, WhatsApp), building automated user journeys using tools like MoEngage, and leveraging behavioral insights to improve engagement, repeat usage, and customer lifetime value.
Roles & Responsible
- Own and execute the retention marketing strategy across the customer lifecycle (onboarding, engagement, reactivation, churn prevention).
- Design, launch, and optimize multi-channel campaigns including push notifications, in-app messages, email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
- Use MoEngage (or similar tools) to build user cohorts, journeys, and automation flows.
- Analyze user behavior and funnel data to identify drop-offs, opportunities, and growth levers.
- Drive improvements in key metrics such as retention rate, repeat usage, engagement, and LTV.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Growth, Analytics, and Design teams to align retention initiatives with business goals.
- Plan and run A/B tests to continuously optimize messaging, timing, and user experience.
- Create dashboards and reports to track performance and share insights with stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and innovations in retention and lifecycle marketing.
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retention marketing, lifecycle marketing, or CRM marketing.
- Hands-on experience with tools like MoEngage, WebEngage, CleverTap etc.
- Strong understanding of user segmentation, cohort analysis, and behavioral analytics.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights into actionable campaigns.
- Experience running data-driven experiments and interpreting results.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
